Self-control is the spiritual discipline that guards our hearts and minds, much like walls protect a city—without it, we are vulnerable to every impulse and temptation (Proverbs 25:28). With the Spirit's help, self-control becomes the boundary that keeps us rooted in wisdom and guided by purpose.
